BEGINNING GAMEPLAY

FIRST AND FOREMOST! READ ALL GAME DOCUMENTATION BECAUSE THE ANSWERS TO YOUR QUESTIONS ARE IN THERE! IF YOUR CHARACTER IS NEW TO THE GAME, to begin gameplay, your character should assume they have been given an ID card, a place to live, received a general health exam (which would include a reproductive exam, and the Breeders would obviously have known before this that... they have changed) and instructed the very basics about living at the compound such as the layout of the compound, information about picking up the shuttle (if they have no car with them in LA) to LA-AFB to shop/eat/see a movie, etc... ASSUMED APPROXIMATE DATE OF FIRST RECORDED DEATHS IS ~ EARLY JUNE '09 Since we are starting this game at a time period of only 4 months after the first reported deaths (as of game start at 10/1/09), breeders may still be recovering from being sick from the virus upon arrival to the camp at the onset of the game, but after a few months this option will no longer be available, as it will be assumed that the virus has finally died out, and anyone that was going to be affected has already either died or recovered. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR JOURNAL IS FRIENDS ONLY, and that you have a public FO post. Your character intro should be your very next post, and it should be Friends Only. At this point you are free to roleplay!
